6 Hours Later

2:30PM :: It's been 6 hours since the amniocentesis happened and I'm physically feeling better than I had hours earlier. I still have a slight stinging/pinching pain at the pierce point, which is covered w/ an average sized bandage used for fingers. I'm getting a dull headache after all this -- it's probably psychosomatic of me to feel this way after all the worry I put myself through prior to the amniocentesis. I wouldn't be surprised if I got ill. I just hope everything is okay down there.

To reassure myself, I got a lap-timer and counted how many times the baby moved. She's not moving now -- probably is napping -- but hopefully her world will be alright. I'm pretty protective of what gets near to her.
